This is at least a rational response to Obama’s new campaign slogan. It really disturbs me how some on the right have tried to link it with Communism.
I believe the focus shouldn’t be on the president for this, though. Not Bush, not Obama. The real culprit is the failure of government to regulate the financial industry properly (and punish those who damage it), and to me, the lion’s share of that blame rests solely on the shoulders of Congress. I think, at the very least, 80% of Congress is worthless and should be sent to the unemployment line, and that’s on both parties.

Well said Smirks. As low as the President’s approval rating has been, Congress has been hovering in the teens. There’s a reason for that.

Plus those who live beyond their means with credit cards and loans, never saving for that rainy day when the rest of us have to pay their unemployment, their medical costs, etc etc etc - too bad we don’t have a fantastic candidate with no party affiliation that could speak to and unite the citizens.
