   Almost missed the “Dead End” sign…nice touch.

   Another interesting ‘toon would be a view from inside the bus, and who’s fighting over the wheel.

   Robert, what’s the motivation behind this one? Didn’t realize social issues had dominated any recent debates between the candidates… I musta missed something.

   Phantom,
   there have been some distractions- from the recent contraception policy that Obama pushed to abortion and gay rights/marriage that the Republican candidates have been discussing/debating. I think if the GOP wants to win they need to focus solely on the economy. As I’ve noted in the cartoon, I think these social issues debates are divisive and a dead end.

   Powerful picture. I wish this wasn’t the current situation with the GOP. I hope you will be able to capture the bus getting back on the right course & not eventually driving into a ditch or over a cliff.
