   I mean, what did they think would happen? I can see it now: I know lets let the GOP and Dems(you know since the GOP and Dems’ platforms represent best interest of 100% of the population 100% of the time at the same time) choose a handfull of people least likely to negotiate and lock them in a room together until they come up with something!!! Or maybe they are just trying to maintain the status quo till next November.
