   Amazon is like the shady car dealership trying to sell a car above sticker price. Does that make us the gullible teenager who doesn’t know how to haggle?

   So what else does our Sterling State have to offer in the way of incentives to attract business to build here? I understand Amazon’s operation. How long have online sales been in existence? This isn’t something new!
   The proposals for recovery of online sales tax has been previously introduced more than once to our state legislative branch and has been allowed to die in committee. Who’s fault is that? However, law or no law, reporting online purchases to the local tax collector is also the responsibility of the buyer from some such services like Amazon, is it not?
