It is bad enough to know of the self-serving and arrogance of many of those who are supposed to be representing us in Columbia and Washington, but must we be perpetually reminded of it by their names being stuck on our public buildings, roads, bridges, parks, freeways, ramps, exits, interchanges, under-passes, over-passes, bicycle paths, alleys, boat ramps, railroad crossings, interstates, and pig paths. If who ever does the naming can find no other public servants more worthy of such an honor, I can suggest two sources deserving of the honor: teachers and members of our military
I’ll second that proposal!
