I wish I could be happy, I really do, but it is just like when Obama became President. We may have a “first” of something, but I don’t think it will end up being the “best” for the state. I hope I’m wrong, I really do, but I doubt I am.
God have mercy on S.C. Four more years of Sanfordism.
Please don’t insult our new governor by comparing her to Obama. She will do a terrific job.
It would have been more appropriate, albeit less striking visually, if you’d replaced the crescent moon with the Venus sign instead of replacing the Palmetto tree.
