And that is why Pelosi won’t give up her plane…..it’s a more comfy ride…
I don’t get this one. My understanding is the first amendment basically says that congress cannot impose a religion upon its citizens. This has been perverted by liberals to mean that the state can forbid any display of religion in the pulic square. The very act of imposing secularism contradicts the first amendment.
Cliff, I saw clips of Christine O’Donnell in a debate in which she was asking where in the First Amendment was the “separation of Church and state?” She’s right about that- those words don’t appear, but were alluded to in a subsequent letter written by Jefferson-, but to see the way she grappled with the issue made her appear clueless- hence the cartoon.
