Actually, I’ve always maintained that silence would probably be Haley’s best bet. There’s so much negative press out there about her and Sheheen has been trying to tear her apart, but the more she responds to it, the more attention she is giving it. No one cares about her possible affair. I’ve seen many people lament Democrats like Charles Rangel but not mind Haley’s tax problems. A lot of Haley supporters don’t even want to discuss what she is standing for, if it is good/bad, if it is even likely to happen, why Sanford promised a lot of the same things and none of them happened, etc. Stick to soundbite rhetoric and buzz words like “big government”, “tax-and-spend liberal”, and sprinkle on a few references to Obama and she is guaranteed a home run victory.
I think you’re right, Kevin.
Okay, that stuff that Nikki Haley may have a “Bill Clinton problem” along with SC Governot, Mark Sanford, may be rumor.
“Bill Clinton problem”: def. Problems with zippers.
But the tax liens against her family’s business for not paying business income taxes, not sending employee tax withholdings in, and paying business property taxes late, and her year late filing of income taxes and late payment of property taxes is public knowledge.
Nikki Haley is not a reformer. She is one of the “Good Old Boys”. She is “Boss Hogg” from the Dukes of Hazzard.
Come to think about it, they both wear white and they both drive white Cadillacs.
