    Mr. Ariail,

I am not sure how you sleep at night. Your 8/22/2010 cartoon is perhaps one the most offensive, careless cartoons I have seen in quite some time. While I realize that you are entitled to your point-of-view and opinion, your attack on innocent children, who in no fault of their own are born on U.S soil with parents that may or may not have a legal status in the country, is truly incomprehensible and reckless.

I am sure your cartoon will please many in your audience, but I wonder if that would be the case if their own children and grandchildren were the target of such heinous and myopic attack. I truly hope your own children are never labeled a demeaning term or that they are used to score cheap political points in a senseless, misguided fight they never chose to be part of.

They’re called “anchor babies”- I didn’t make it up. The cartoon just illustrates the term and is not an “attack on innocent children.” That you are so appalled at this fairly innocuous cartoon makes me question your sincerity. Maybe it’s you who’s trying to “score cheap political points.”

Hey speechless…….pay attention to what is happening out in the world http://www.cagle.msnbc.com/news/AnchorBabies/main.asp

Robert - clever, like the cartoons - they make me think - congrats on your new position. I never knew the names for different types of anchors.

All …. The debate on the 14th ammendment is all about fear and stirring up anger… how do you think the Native Americans felt with European ‘anchor babies?’

Thanks, Clay- and good point on the European “anchor babies.”
