What about Illinois?
Since Sanford’s fall from grace and from sexual allegations against Haley in the primary, to Knotts’ “Raghead” comment, and of course Alvin Greene of late - Illinois is safe for now.
When we pass a tougher Arizona-style immigration law, that will certainly solidify our number one punch line status… Imagine the national media at the statehouse conferedate monument watching someone like Knotts annoucing the new law… Hispanics will have to take a back seat to Knotts’ “Ragheads” who will be the first to be carded.
Don’t lose your sense of humor cause at a minimum, SC politics is definitely entertaining, now and in the future.
I was driving in a rural area of our lovely state the other day when I came upon an intersection that had been formerly marked as a “4-WAY STOP”. But now the “4-WAY” portion of the sign has been replaced with “ALL WAY”. Nothing else had changed - a fifth road had not been added, one of the roads had not been closed off, just two roads crossing each other. Does our highway department no longer think our residents can count to 4? Replacing the 4-WAY signs may be cheaper than adding a math section to the drivers exam.
