This is a revival of a cartoon I did after Sanford won his first race for governor ( I do this from time to time with cartoons when it’s appropriate.) In the original, the logo on the truck reads: Sanford and sons - junk. In the back is Harvey Peeler and his cow labeled(if I remember correctly)”negative campaigning.” Obviously, it’s all a takeoff on the “Sanford and Son” television show. I’ll try to find the first cartoon and post it for comparison.
On a related note, I’m still in shock over the recent revelations. Though I have been critical of the Governor over his recent stimulus stance, I have always respected him as a man of principle. I hope he can regain the trust and respect of his wife, family and the people of this state.

I do enjoy your work. I can’t tell if you’re still here in the armpit of the S or if you’ve managed to escape into other areas of the country that are more forward thinking. I was born and bred here, so I can be as judgmental as I want. In either case, it’s nice to know you’re still cranking out the good stuff.
The best I could come up w/ was that the Repugs should stop being referred to as the ‘party of no’ to being referred to as ‘hide my ho’.

Could someone PLEASE tell Sanford to SHUT UP and Jenny to change the locks on the doors!
He is not just an adulterer, he is a philanderer. Hearing the things he is saying to national and local media is breaking my heart for Jenny. Cubby, get a rope on your man, he is a philanderer not an alcoholic. No fifth step for him please, I and the State of South Carolina don’t need this embarassing spotlight.
Sanford and his mistress is annoying, but at least his political career might be considered to be “canned.”
The Democraps can have their standard bearer drown his mistress and the guy gets another 30 years as their main Lib and no one bats an eye because those people have no morals that people are dissapointed they violated.
